Our History

Dr. Paul Miyamoto began his dental career in Aurora in 1971 and opened his own practice in 1974. We have seen many patients and their families for over 40 years. Dr. Kim has been a fixture in his dental office and officially joined Miyamoto Family Dental in 2017. Prior to that she did a Residency at the University of California San Francisco working in their dental clinic and at the San Francisco General Hospital working in the dental ER. After her Residency she had the opportunity to work at other dental offices in the Bay area learning more about cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Kim did dental mission trips to Honduras and different parts of California. 

Dr. Kim maintains the same dental quality and standard of care as Dr. Paul and has brought fresh energy, new techniques, and the latest technology to Miyamoto Family Dental. As part of her dental continuing education to keep up-to-date with dental techniques, she takes advanced training in all aspects of dentistry. Our office staff all participate in continuing education.
